We love absolutely everything about these guys – their apples are sourced from a family-owned orchard in Northeast Georgia, they stock only local craft beer behind the bar (sustainably grown wine + spirits available as well!), and they support local nonprofits including two of our favs, Concrete Jungle & Trees Atlanta.
Free entry + $1 off all cider draughts for our group. Facility tours throughout the evening. Community food cart Pop Dog Atlanta will be on-hand to satisfy any hunger cravings. ATLANTA GREEN DRINKS is a monthly social networking event for people who care about the environment/sustainability.
Please join us for February's gathering hosted by THE MAMMAL GALLERY, one of the driving forces in the effort to breathe new life into South Downtown and historic South Broad Street. Since Mammal Gallery opened its doors as a not-for-profit music venue & collaborative performance/gallery space in 2013, the once thriving commercial district – now emerging arts community – has become home to the Broad Street Visitors Center, Downtown Players Club, Murmur and Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery (just round the corner on Forsyth), with hopefully many more creatives, progressives and arts organizations to follow. This event will highlight the area's new BEACONS Project.
#GoatFarmBEACONS has the hunch that the right kind of density builds the right kind of arts district. The Goat Farm Arts Center is partnering with creative individuals to rehab not raze the unused and beautiful spaces of South Downtown Atlanta. Have an idea? A thought? Come by and chat with organizers &/or visit BeaconsAtl.com.
