BUILDING COMMUNITY, ACCESSIBILITY, AND MOBILITY IN SOUTH DOWNTOWN
South Downtown Atlanta has a lot going on these days. For the past year, through the leadership of the Center for Civic Innovation (CCI), community leaders, urban planners and neighborhood advocates have come together to imagine and work toward a vision of the area that is economically vibrant and socially accessible. Concurrently, efforts are underway to implement the recommendations of an Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), Livable Centers Initiative study that focused specifically on the MARTA rail stations in the neighborhood and how they can support that vision. Join us to hear about the exciting community building happening in South Downtown, and discover the inspiring vision being created.
