Bike Parade @ Atlanta Streets Alive

  • Virginia Avenue & North Highland Avenue Atlanta, GA 30306 (map)

Join us for the opening remarks and kickoff of Atlanta Streets Alive: September. The parade is led by Chantelle Rytter, the brains/artist behind fun Atlanta events like the Beltline Lantern Parade.

Atlanta has an incredible opportunity that will be put to vote this Fall. T-SPLOST would allow for significant improvements to our transportation infrastructure and would make sure that all people can walk, bike, and roll safely down their streets. Included in the T-SPLOST plans, is the potential to build greenways. To show our support for greenways in Atlanta, we're dressing up in all things GREEN!

We're riding from the corner of Virginia Ave & North Highland, to the end of the route (2.7 miles) in Old Fourth Ward. Ride through and explore five different Atlanta neighborhoods and get a glimpse of all the activity along the way.

Line up at Virginia Avenue and North Highland Avenue at 1:30pm! FREE bike decorating and treats for the first 50 people to arrive.
